town centre shopping area and car parks. Middleton is centrally placed and just a few miles from City Centre Manchester, Bury, Rochdale and Oldham.

Directions by road

The Civic Centre is located approximately 2-1/2 miles from Junctions 19 on the M60 or Junction 19 on the M62
.
From Yorkshire and the North East, leave the M62 at junction 19 then follow the A6046 into Middleton Town Centre.

From South Manchester, follow the M60 to Junction 19 and take A576 straight into Middleton.

From Merseyside and the West leave the M60 at junction 18 and follow the M60 to Junction 19 and take A576 straight into Middleton.

From Manchester City Centre follow the A664 direct to Middleton.

By rail

There is a local Mainline Station at Mills Hill Bridge (one mile from the centre) which is served by frequent trains from Manchester and Rochdale offering onward connections onto the Inter City network.

The new purpose built Middleton Bus Station is located 2 minutes away from the Civic Centre Middleton, There are frequent services to Middleton from Manchester, Rochdale, Heywood, Bury, Bolton and Oldham.
